Zoo Negara, Kuala Lumpur

Zoo Negara is just a 20-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.  

Malaysia’s National Zoo is almost 50 years old and sits on 110 acres of land boasting over 5,100 animals of 459 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Zoo Negara Malaysia is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, a non-governmental organization established to create the first local zoo for Malaysians.

Zoo Negara has successfully bred milky storks, false gharials, pheasants and giraffes.
